PESHAWAR: Justice Sahibzada Asadullah of Peshawar High Court (PHC) has rejected bail petition of alleged harasser of Afghan woman and abductor of her daughter, on Wednesday.
The counsel for complainant Mian Zakir Hussain Advocate appeared before court and argued that alleged culprit Nasim had made friendship with Afghan national Arzo and called to Pakistan on social media platform.
According to prosecution, the alleged culprit has stayed Afghan woman at his relative’s home and sexually harassed her for 20 days while latterly Arzoo has leave to bring her sister for release of her daughter kidnapped by Nasim and also demanded ransom in this regard.
The counsel argued that on 7th March 2023 First Information Report (FIR) registered against Nasim under forced intercourse, kidnapping and child protection Act in Pahari Pura police station.
Police has arrested Nasim and recovered Afghan girl from his residence during raid on his home while trial court turndown bail plea of the alleged culprit, the prosecution claimed.
The counsel argued that kidnapped child was recovered from possession of alleged culprit while social media chat is also available on the record, on the other hand, the counsel for accused argued that co-accused already obtained bail from court.
Peshawar High Court (PHC) has turndown bail petition of alleged kidnapper and harasser while declared that the accused has been directly charged along with evidences and added that co-accused obtained relief due to difference in the role.
