PHC turndowns bail of alleged murder

PESHAWAR: The single bench of Peshawar High Court comprising of Justice Musrt Hilali turndown bail petition of alleged murder, on Monday. The petitioner Talib Jan has filed bail petition seeking release on medical grounds.

The petitioner has allegedly killed his son and injured his wife in 2005 by opening fire on them however the petitioner was arrested in 2020 by police.

The petitioner is old citizen approximately 91 years of age presently the counsel informed PHC.

During hearing Justice Musrt Hilali remarked that the petitioner has no serious illness and old age is not entitled for relief under law.
