Photo exhibit of war victims held in Kabul

KABUL (Tolo News): The Social Association of the Afghan Justice Seeker (SAAJS) held an exhibit in Kabul of photographs of war victims from the past four decades. They are being displayed to seek justice for their families.
The members of this association said that the people of Afghanistan can no longer tolerate war crimes and should not be killed under various pretexts. In this exhibition, over 1,000 photos were displayed. Members of SAAJS said that they have collected more than 12,000 photos from all over the country, but they have exhibited only 1,000 of them.
“During the past 40 years of war in Afghanistan various governments have been in power, they have committed a lot of crimes and none of them want to take responsibility for these crimes,” said Lida, head of the SAAJS. “We raise our voice to condemn these crimes and we call on the human rights organizations to stand with us,” said Shukria, a member of the SAAJS.
Meanwhile, a number of visitors who visited the exhibition said that looking at these photos reminds them of bitter memories of war and terror, adding that people of Afghanistan can no longer tolerate war. “They are all people of one nation, we must learn from them and we all must work for unity,” said Qazizadi Shinwar, a resident of Kabul. In the meantime, the Social Association of the Afghan Justice Seeker (SAAJS) called for an inclusive government in the country.
