PIA to launch 10 special flights for Kashger

KARACHI: National carrier PIA has launched 10 special charter flights to Kashger—a city in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, in China’s far west, on Wednesday.

A PIA spokesperson said that these flights would earn the national carrier additional revenue and it would be the first-ever airline to operate such flights.

The flights will continue to fly till March 19 and PIA have been using Airbus aircraft for this operation.

The PIA spokesperson said that these special flights will assist the Pakistani exporters to easily supply their goods to their destinations.

Earlier, PIA has launched the first ever direct flight to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
