PJDP, JUI-F hold anti-merging rally in Landi Kotal

LANDI KOTAL: Local workers of Pakistan Justice & Democratic Party (PJDP) with assistance of Jamiat Ullema-e-Islam, Fazalrehman (JUI-F) Khyber Agency took out a protest demonstration against merging of FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP) here at Bacha Khan Square, Landi Kotal Bazaar on Sunday.

Dozens of the political volunteers of PJDP and JUI-F while holding banner and placards inscribed with slogans against merging of tribal belt into KP and favoring a separate province for the tribesmen.

Speaking on the occasion their leaders including FATA President of PJDP Daulat Khan Afridi,ameers JUI-F Landi Kotal and Jamrud Qari Mujahid Ahmad and Ghufranullah Khybari,PJDP Khyber Agency President Kareemullah Shinwari said that in shape of merging of the tribal belt in KP, an alien agenda was imposing on the tribesmen but they would utilize every possible option to foil that attempt.

“For the last seven decades, the tribal have been rendered sacrifices not to be enslaved under the rule of the province but to win their own entity”, they maintained.

The protesters were on the view that FATA had abundant of natural resources and the tribesmen were able enough to run their separate province,”Qabailistan” smoothly and were not ready to be part of the financially  weak and billion dollars indebted KP.

They urged the tribal to rise jointly for their rights as their future was safe in the own province.

Time was near that the long lasting dream of tribal would become true and they would get their separate province.

The protesters marched to in front of Landi Kotal press club where they dispersed after offering prays.
