PM Abbasi to chair NSC meeting today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has summoned a meeting of National Security Committee on Friday (today) to discuss the new US policy for South Asia and regional situation.

Reports said that the meeting will take place after the Jumma prayers at PM House in which Foreign, Defense and Finance and also leadership of armed forces will attend the meeting.

The meeting will discuss the new situation in region and US policy and approach towards Afghan War and also to discuss the peace and security situation in the region. Sources told that important decisions are expected to be taken during the meeting.

PM Abbasi is expected to take the committee into confidence over his recent visit to the US.
