PM Abbasi to participate UN General Assembly in September

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to participate in United Nations General Assembly and he will visit United States in the third week of September.

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif will also accompany with the prime minister and this will be the first visit of Shahid Khaqan after assuming the PM office.

The visit comes in the middle of tense situation between the Pakistan and United States after Presidents Trump allegations which disrupt the relations between the two allies.

After the Trump allegations Pakistan recently postponed dialogues with the US when the special Representative of US for Pakistan and Afghanistan Alice Wells visit Islamabad. Officials said that the government of Pakistan postponed the dialogues because of busy schedule.
