PM Imran Khan’s visit to Karachi postponed due to bad weather

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit scheduled for today to Karachi has been postponed due to bad weather.

The premier was scheduled to inaugurate multiple projects. Scores of PTI workers had set up numerous camps in the city to welcome the prime minister.

The PM was also scheduled to chair a meeting to review progress on several federal-funded development projects and public welfare schemes in Sindh.

Instead, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail will inaugurate the flyover projects and two highways according to the same schedule.

Special Assistant to the PM on Information and Broadcasting Firdous tweeted yesterday, stating, “Prime Minister Imran Khan is a popular leader who has genuinely established public rule.”

She said the premier would visit Karachi tomorrow to inaugurate public-oriented projects, and review the priorities set to address the problems of the provincial capital.
