PM instructs to utilize KP potential to boost tourism

ISLAMABAD: On Satur-day Prime Minister Imran Khan held a meeting with the parliamentarians, where they had comprehensive di-scussion over promotion a-nd support for tourism, en-vironmental and forest conservation in the province.

During the meeting, Prime Minister assured the parliamentarians that Swat Motorway will be expanded. Assuring governments of profound support, Prime Minister Khan also instructed to utilize immense potential in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Malik Amir Dogar also attended the meeting, where he discussed the problems faced by the respective constituencies of the parliamentarians and development works.

Whereas, prime minister guaranteed that the construction a new DHQ hospital in Jhang on Sahibzada Sultan’s request and Rail-way underpass in Lodhran requested by Shafiq Arain.

As a response Shafiq Arain also thanked the prime minister for approving the upgradation of  Multan-Lodhran road.

During the meeting Haider praised the prime minister for his steps being taken for promotion of tourism in Swat as well as across the KP province.

Prince Nawaz Alai thanked the prime minister for endorsement of a grid station and construction of a road in Battagram which he said would help enhance tourism and generate investment and job opportunities.

Prime Minister Khan also ins-tructed the early issuance of notification to define boun-daries between Battagarm and Kohistan by the Survey of Pakistan, on the request of a parliamentarian.

The meeting was attended by SAFRON Minister S-ahibzada Mahboob Sultan, Punjab Minister Sardar Asif Nakai, MNA Mian Shafiq Arain, Malik Umar Aslam, Muhammad Amir Sultan, Prince Nawaz Alai, Haider Ali Khan and MPA Zubair Ahmed.
