PM is very sincere to rights of province: CM

Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has categorically stated that he is the custodian of provincial rights and would not any compromise regarding attainment of the due rights of this province making it clear that the federation also did not deny our rights even as the prime minister himself is very sincere to rights of the province.

A uniform developmental approach has been taken for all the districts however development of newly merged tribal districts and other far flung areas of the province is the priority, he added.

While talking to media during his visit to District Swat, the Chief Minister said that comprehensive developmental planning has been done and efforts are underway to address the issues of general public not only in Swat but throughout the province.

Different developmental projects worth of billions of rupees have also been approved for district Swat including establishment of 500 beds hospital, construction of roads for Kalam & Malam Jabba and Expressway etc. The land is being arranged for small industrial zone of Swat. Special police force has been regularized and this matter would completely be settled down within next two week.

He said that actionable developmental plan has been devised for Buner, Dir, Shangla, Chitral and Malakand Division and implementation on various projects has also been initiated.

While responding to a question regarding inflation, the Chief Minister stated that the present government is well aware of the issues of general public and was striving hard to address these issues as early as possible. He made it clear that due to poor policies of previous governments, today the nation is facing inflation and other financial issues but incumbent government is committed and would soon control this situation. This is the only government which not only is taking immediate steps to address the problems but is also working to give all time solutions of long standing issues at national level, he concluded. President PTI Malakand Division, MPA Fazal Hakeem Khan and other were also present on this occasion.
