PM laptop scheme to start from next week

ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) got permission to buy 1 Lac laptops under the Prime Minister Laptop scheme.

As per details, HEC will purchase 1 lakh laptops.

The Higher Education Commission has been waiting for government approval for the launch of the scheme.

The process will begin next week.

One and a half to 2 billion rupees will be spent on the project.

According to HEC sources, the scheme was delayed due to budget.
