PM orders PEMRA to stop all private tv channels

Islamabad: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has ordered the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) to stop the transmission of all private television channels, whereas only state run Pakistan Television  is allowed to air its transmission. Situation across Pakistan is getting tense as protests across country are spreading rapidly.
