PM Shehbaz, COAS felicitate Saudi crown prince on appointment as PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday felicitated Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz on his appointment as the prime minister.

In a tweet in Arabic language, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed his wishes for the further development of the Kingdom under the leadership of Mohammad bin Salman as the prime minister.

Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa also congratulated Prince Mohammed Bin Salman bin AbdulAziz Al Saud on being appointed Prime Minister of KSA and HRH Prince Khalid Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for being appointed Defence Minister of KSA.

The Army Chief said Pakistan valued its historical and brotherly relations with KSA and acknowledged its unique place in the Islamic world.

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz named Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as the kingdom’s prime minister, according to a royal decree as quoted by Saudi Press Agency.
