PM Shehbaz condemns Imran’s remarks against COAS

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned PTI chief Imran Khan’s remarks about the Chief of Army Staff, on Friday.

Imran Khan’s statement is an admission that what happened on May 9 was done at his behest, the premier said.

Shahbaz Sharif further alleged Imran Niazi’s statement is another proof of his hollow mentality against the Pakistan Army. This is the same mentality that falsely accused the patriotic army officers of his murder, he added.

He said that Imran Khan was the mastermind behind the desecration of martyrs’ memorials and attacks on sensitive installations and buildings.

PM Shehbaz thought that the trouble with General Asim Munir is that he as DGISI is aware of the corruption of Imran Niazi, his wife, Farah Gogi, and the senior leadership of PTI.

“There is nothing but malice against the highly decorated, rank-and-file army chief Gen Syed Asim Munir,” he divulged.

Praising Gen Asim, Sharif added that Imran Niazi is afraid of a ‘Sword of Honour’ winner and Hafiz-e-Quran honest army chief.

He feared that this kind of vile talk against the commander of the army fighting against terrorism is supporting the terrorists.

The entire nation stands with the armed forces and the army chief,” he vowed.
