PM Shehbaz pledges all-out govt support to Sindh flood victims

KARACHI: Assuring Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah of all possible support, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday directed him to utilize all possible resources for providing relief to the flood-affected people of the province.

During a telephonic conversation, the prime minister was informed about the latest relief and rehabilitation efforts for the flood-affected populace in the province.

CM Murad, on the occasion, also updated the prime minister about the steps being taken by his government to help the people of Sindh in these testing times.

The prime minister appreciated the spirit with which the chief minister and the Sindh government were working to rescue and rehabilitate the people displaced by floods.

The prime minister stressed that no efforts should be spared to support the flood victims.

The Sindh CM, in return, thanked PM Shehbaz Sharif for their concerns and support for the flood-affected people and assured that they would not disappoint the affected people.

Sindh minister Syed Nasir Shah on Saturday visited Qambar Shahzad and later telephoned Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and updated them about the devastation caused by the floods in the district.

After receiving phone call from Nasir Shah, the prime minister immediately ordered NDMA officials to take steps for helping the people of Qambar.
