ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs called on Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication to discuss collaboration on the launch of Startup Pakistan initiative under National Youth Development Framework (NYDF) here on Thursday.
Startup Pakistan would provide digital incubation platform to youth across all universities and 300 accredited TVET institutes to create a national eco-system for the development of innovation driven entrepreneurs (IDEs), said news release. Students would be trained in seven emerging technologies for sustainable national economic growth.
It was agreed in the meeting that Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication along with Ignite team would work together with Prime Minister’s Youth Program for effective implementation of Startup Pakistan Program.
