PMD predicts rain with thunderstorm in upper areas of country

ISLAMABAD: Rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, quoting Pakistan weather office.

A shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country.

The meteorological office forecasted that weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas as continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

In Lahore, dusty winds are expected today and the weather office recorded 32 degree Celsius temperature in the city.

In Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan, weather will remain cloudy and the weather office said the temperature of the city could go up to 42 degree Celsius and 43 degree Celsius respectively.

Sunday’s highest maximum temperature’s (°C): Mohenjodaro 49, Larkana, Jacobabad 48, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad and Khairpur 47.
