ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Maritime, Chaudhry Jaffar Iqbal has said the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was confident of its five year performance and would contest general election on its performance.
Minister said the PML-N wanted general election on time and conspiracies by some elements to delay elections had failed.
He said it was welcoming that another elected government was completing its term and transition of power would held smoothly.
People of the country would judge performance of the government and political party which would get majority form the next government, he said.
Jaffar Iqbal said all the political parties had committed mistakes in the past, however they were moving ahead and demonstrating maturity.
He urged the politicians to promote harmony in politics and resolve all matters of national importance with consensus.
