PML-N expresses no confidence in SC’s three-member bench

ISLAMABAD: The ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Monday expressed no confidence in the Supreme Court’s (SC) three-member bench hearing the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa polls delay case.

Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb talked to the media after the PML-N parliamentary party meeting was held in Islamabad on Monday.

She said they have expressed no confidence in the three-member bench while the ruling alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has also endorsed it.

Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb also said that general elections should be held in the country simultaneously.

The PML-N leader also suggested that to end the constitutional crisis going on in the country, the President of the State Arif Alvi should not become the President of PTI.
