PML-N to form next govt: Muqam

TIMERGARA: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz provincial president and former minister of state engineer Ameer Muqam on Saturday said that no political party in Pakistan could beat the PML-N as the nation trusted its leadership.

Addressing a party gathering at Chakdara here he said the completion of Chakdara 220 KV Thana grid station would ensure smooth power supply to parts of Malakand division. He said that speedy work had been underway on the grid station. “The 2018 general election will prove the PML-N as the only largest national party in Pakistan,” Mr Muqam said, adding that recent gatherings of Mian Nawaz Sharif in Punjab and Haripur had disturbed the opponents.

The PML N leader said that Punjab sitting chief minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif would be the next prime minister whom the China, Turkey and Saudi Arabia trusted. He said the PML-N would gain votes on the bases of its performance in next election. He said the people of Dir though had not voted to his party yet he initiated gas supply and electrification projects in the district.

The PML-N leader said the Jamaat-i-Islami was limited only to Dir and Buner so the people should vote to a national party like the PML-N. He said the JI chief Siraj ul Haq had confused his workers by supporting the PTI chief Imran Khan.

He said the PTI leadership had been demanding resignation from Punjab minister on Qasur incident but they had kept silence on Mardan and DI Khan incidents. The PML-N provincial senior vice president Farid Khan Yousafzai, local leader Haji Syed Ghani and others also spoke on the occasion. The Awami National Party activist Qamar Zaman and advocate Wahidullah announced to join the PML-N on the occasion.
