PML-N has always come to power through rigging: Sharjeel Memon

F.P. Report

KARACHI: Pakistan People Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Memon has said PMLN has always come to power through rigging and with whichever party the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) make an alliance, the PPP will make a clean sweep in the upcoming election.

He was addressing a press conference on Sunday.

He said the PPP had built up houses for the poor people of urban and rural population of Sindh and the people who had been ruling the Punjab had never built up even proper hospital facilities for the people.

How many houses had the PML-N built for the people who could not afford, he questioned?

“Incapable people were imposed on the country in the 2018 and we do not want to repeat the same mistake in 2024. PML-N was responsible for the economic woes following the “harm” caused by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to the country,” he said.

Memon said, “The inept person was imposed on the country in 2018. We don’t want to see the recap of the events that happened in 2018”.

“The PMLN had always remembered the people of Sindh during the election years,” he added.

“The PML-N is such an inept political party that the people from Punjab are coming to Sindh to receive their medical treatment,” he said.

He asserted, “Sindh has surpassed the rest of the country in terms of development. “The PML-N should inform the masses about the development projects they have completed,” Memon said.

He was of the view the PML-N always came to power through rigging which was a bitter truth but the PPP wanted to move forward.

With whichever party the PMLN make an alliance, it does not make any difference, the PPP will make a clean sweep in the election 2024.

The PPP had decided to stage its power show in Balochistan on November 30.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari held a meeting of the party workers from Balochistan in Karachi. On this occasion, it was decided that the PPP will hold its public gathering to mark the party’s 56th foundation day in Quetta on November 30.

In connection with the upcoming elections, Bhutto-Zardari had urged the party leaders and workers to start preparations with the verve.

Speaking about Balochistan’s political landscape, the former foreign minister stated, “We will clinch more seats in Balochistan. The PPP is the party that took practical steps to uplift Balochistan.”
