PML-N initiates uplift schemes in Haripur

HARIPUR: Chairman NA Standing Committee on Human Rights Babar Nawaz Khan Monday said that during the short tenure of one year the PML-N government initiated many developmental projects in district Haripur worth Rs41 billion rupees

Rs.20 billion rupees projects have been completed in Haripur district. He said this while addressing the newly elected body of Haripur Press Club.

Babar Nawaz Khan said that serving the masses is priority of the PML-N, politics of victimization is not our objective.

“I have started many developmental projects even in the areas of our opponent to facilitate the masses.”

He maintained that media is the ear and eyes of the society, journalists of Haripur press club played their role in a positive way and achieved excellence as compare to other districts of the region.

In the upcoming session of the NA Journalists Protection Bill would be presented, he added.

Talking about the developmental schemes in his constituency Babar Nawaz Khan said that Sui gas and electricity provision projects are being completed all over the district.

People of Door Par, Rehana and Khanpur would soon be benefited by these projects.
