PML-N, PPP trying to hide corruption in guise of agitation: Samsam

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Syed Samsam Ali Bukhari has said that both Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) are hiding their corruption in guise of agitation.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that PML-N should rather distributes sweats on the arrest of Asif Zardari and added that the PPP will face the same public response in Sindh which it faced in Punjab province. The left-over workers of PPP will not come out in support of the corrupt, he added.

Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Syed Samsam Ali Bukhari said that those who committed corruption should be ready for accountability as the people are facing the consequences of misdeeds committed in the tenures of PPP and PML-N. One should respect the court verdicts and it appears that opposition is de-tracked while ignoring the real issues, he added. The provincial minister said that Nawaz Sharif will never extend any support to Asif Zardari.

On the other side, narratives of Shahbaz and Nawaz have become a nuisance for the PML-N workers. Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Syed Samsam Ali Bukhari said that Imran Khan will not abandon his struggle aimed at eradicating corruption from the country. He said that Hamza Shehbaz will face the same fate as like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari though he has tried his level best to escape from the clutches of law by hiding under the shadow of law.

He said that the provocative behavior of the PML-N workers is deplorable as there is no logic of such agitation against the court decisions. Samsam Bukhari said that Hamza Shehbaz should face the legal process and PML-N should educate its workers about the reality. Action will be initiated if anybody tried to take law in his hand, Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Syed Samsam Ali Bukhari clarified.
