PML-N want respect for parliament: Tallal Chaudry

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Interior Affairs, Tallal Chaudry has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in the supremacy of parliament and also wants more respect for other institutions of the country.

This he said while talking to media outside an accountability court in Islamabad on Wednesday. Tallal visited accountability court where PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif is facing corruption cases.

Tallal Chaudhry said that according to the constitution parliament is the supreme in the country and adding that the parliament should not be turned into municipal committee.

PML-N will continue efforts for the supremacy of parliament and voice of the people as it very important for the pure democracy in the country, he added.

Tallal refused to comment on a contempt of court case against him in the Supreme Court, the hearing of which was conducted a day before.
