PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz cancels Karachi visit amid rising coronavirus cases

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has cancelled her scheduled visit to Karachi.

According to the party, the decision to cancel the visit was taken due to the threats being faced by the people in the wake of raging coronavirus cases in the country.

Earlier, it was reported that Maryam Nawaz will reach Karachi on Saturday evening where she will stay at PML-N leader Miftah Ismael’s house. She was also due to address an iftar party and other ceremonies ahead of the by-election in NA-249.
