Police arrest 34 suspects in Bannu

BANNU: At least 34 suspected persons were arrested in a search and strike operation conducted by police in the jurisdiction of Ghurewala Police Station on Wednesday.

The operation was conducted on the directives of DPO Sadiq Baloch. Station House Officer (SHO) Ghurewala Police Station Ijaz Khan led the operation and arrested 34 suspected persons including 18 proclaimed offenders. Police also recovered eight guns, one rifle, one Kalakov, two Kalashnikov, 29 pistols and hundreds of bullets during the crackdown. SHO Ijaz Khan said that the operation against criminals will be continue till the elimination of last criminal from the area and asked the people to assist the police force in clearing the area from the criminal minded people.
