KOHAT: Police arrested 340 suspected including 13 proclaimed offenders in a search and strike operations conducted in different parts of the district on Saturday. Police conducted operation on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat.
Police conducted seven operations on Saturday in different areas of the Kohat district. Superintendent of Police (SP) operations, Jameel Akhtar supervised the crackdown and arrested 340 suspected persons including 13 proclaimed offenders during the operations. Police also recovered five Kalashnikov, three Kalashankov, Seven repeater guns, 12 guns, Six rifles, 30 pistols, hundreds of bullets, 20 kilograms hashish, 500 grams opium, 400 grams heroin and five bottles of liquors. The cases were registered against the arrested persons.
