Police arrest alleged TTP Karachi head

KARACHI: A suspected terrorist affiliated with the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban (TTP) was arrested in a raid carried out by police in the metropolis’ Pak Colony area on Saturday night.

According to private channel, the arrested terrorist was identified as Muneer Ahmed and he is said to be a part of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Police said that the arrested man was also involved in collecting extortion money.

Meanwhile, two street criminals were arrested late last night from near Mewa Shah graveyard and Pak Colony locales, law enforcement agencies (LEAs) said.
