JHELUM: Police in Jhelum have arrested the brother of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry.
Faraz Chaudhry came on Friday to submit nomination papers of his brother from NA-60 for contesting February 8 general elections.
Police said Faraz Chaudhry was wanted by them in connection with several cases.
Faraz Chaudhry has been shifted to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) building in Jhelum.
Faraz Chaudhry was also the former secretary general of PTI Jhelum.
PTI leader Wahid Mahfooz arrested
Meanwhile, police in Rawalpindi also arrested PTI leader Raja Wahid Mahfooz after he submitted his nomination papers on Friday.
Civil Line police personnel arrested Wahid Mahfooz from district courts.
