Police arrest man who killer 7-year-old niece for making noise

PESHAWAR: Capital City Police claimed to have arrested a killer who killed his Seven-year-old niece for making noise at house in limits of Tehkal police station area of Peshawar.

According to police official, a complainant identified as Hayat Ullah Resident of Arbab road Tehkal had reported to police that his brother namely Fazal Hayat shot dead his daughter for making noise while playing with other children at the courtyard of the house.

The killer managed to escape the crime scene after the tragic incident.

Official added that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operation Zahoor Babar Afridi took notice of the incident and constituted a team in the supervision of SP Cantt Tasweer Iqbal comprising of DSP Town Mukhtiar Kahn, SHO Tehkal Shehryar Khan and investigation officer Mukamil Shah and handed over a task to trace and arrets the culprits involved in the killing.

A police team arrested him from Landi Kotal area of Khyber district with the help of local police and recovered weapon from his possession used in a crime.

The killer confessed the killing of his niece in initial interrogation and further investigation is under way.
