KARACHI: At least three dacoits were arrested in two different operations conducted by Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Saturday night in Karachi and Sukkur.
Police told media persons that two dacoits were arrested in an operation conducted in Landhi No. 1 locale of Karachi. Police added that they were arrested as they attempted to loot citizens.
Police also recovered weapons and a motorcycle from the possessions of the arrested.
Similarly, after a shootout in Sukkur, police arrested one dacoit identified as Irfan while his two accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
Police added that one TT pistol, a magazine, three bullets, and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the suspect’s possession.
Following his arrest, the dacoit, who was wanted in numerous cases, was shifted to the Civil Hospital, police noted.
