Police arrest TTP terrorist from Bannu recovered cache of weapons

PESHAWAR: Police arrested a terrorist belonging to banned Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) and also recovered cache of arms from his possession in Bannu here on Monday.

As per the police sources, Police team conducted raid in Basikhel Surani area of Bannu after receiving reports and arrested the wanted terrorist.

Police also recovered cache of weapons from his possession which were probably to be used in terrorist activities during Muharram with the aim to disturb the peaceful environment in the area.

Meanwhile, police arrested 13 suspected including a proclaimed offender and recovered weapons from their possession in Peshawar on Monday.

The police launched a search operation against the criminals in Regi area of the provincial capital and arrested 13 suspected persons including a proclaimed offender.

Police team also recovered four shot machine guns (SMGs), nine guns, eight pistols and hundreds of rounds from them.
