KARACHI: At least nine suspected outlaws were arrested by police during overnight raids in different parts of the Karachi.
Police officials told local news channel that three suspected criminals were arrested during a raid near Waseem Bagh in Glushan-a-Iqbal neighborhood. Weapons were recovered from their possession.
SSP East confirmed that the suspects were identified as Abdullah, Yousuf and Ameen. Acting upon information provided by them, the police seized a stolen bike from Mobina Town.
Similarly, the police arrested two suspected street criminals during a raid within the jurisdiction of Al-Falah police station and recovered weapons and other stolen valuables from their possession.
They were identified as Umar and Sheeraz. Their accomplice managed to flee the scene.
The Al-Falah police said they arrested four criminals in another raid. The suspects were involved in robberies and other crimes.
