F.P. Report

KASUR: Muhammad Ameen, the father of seven-year-old Zainab has said that not a single suspect has been arrested in the Zianab case, who was raped and murdered on January 9.

Ameen said this while talking to media on Sunday. He said that investigation is moving very slowly and it was not working as it was promised with us after the Zainab murder.

Police only giving us hope that the killer will be arrested soon but on ground reality they are not doing anything and waiting for murderer to surrender before police.

He added that those who were arrested during the protest after the murdered of Zainab and their mother contacted me and demanded to release the arrested protestors.

Muhammad Ameen alleged that the protests were peaceful but police created chaos after firing upon unarmed demonstrators.

Two protesters, Shoaib and Mohammad Ali, were allegedly killed by the police firing during the protest on Wednesday. Earlier, Zainab’s father had slammed the police for “negligence in tracing out the culprit(s) in time” to save his daughter’s life.
