Police finalizes security plan for Ramadan

PESHAWAR: The Capital City police on Monday finalized a security plan to maintain law and order situation during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to police spokesman, almost 3000 police officials including ASPs, DSPs, Inspectors, SIs, ASIs, Constables and lady police constables will be performed their duties in  different areas of the city.

Police official informed that four armored vehicles, 30 mobiles teams, 30 special raiders’ and bomb disposal unit teams have been deployed.

An official added that 1813 police officials have been deployed at 763 sensitive mosques of the city in the supervision of SPs and DSPs.

In a statement issued here, Capital City Police Officer said that foolproof security arrangements have been made during the holy month of Ramadan to avoid any untoward incident.

He urged citizens to assists police official in the holy month of Ramadan. He directed all DSPs and SHOs to check Ramadan Bazaars on daily basis to monitor security.
