Police foiled a plot to assassinate Britain’s PM Theresa May

LONDON: Police foiled a plot to assassinate the Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May after arresting the suspects.

The British media reported that Metropolitan Police arrested two suspected men last week and they were charged with terrorism offences and will be presented in court on Wednesday.

The Police believed that the suspects were planning to lauch some sort of improvised explosive device at PM Theresa May residence at Downing Street and after ensuring the chaos to attack and kill the premier.

Police said that that arrested suspects were identified as Naa’imur Zakariyah Rahman, 20, of north London, and Mohammed Aqib Imran, 21, of south-east Birmingham.
