Police held 2 drug peddlers, recovers 18kg hashish

KOHAT: Police busted a gang of drug peddlers and foiled a bid to smuggle 18560 Gram Hashish worth millions of rupees and apprehended two smugglers, on Friday.

According to office of District Police Officer, the smugglers concealed hashish in school bags and tried to smuggle from district Bannu to merged district of Khyber. A police team comprising Head Constable Mubarak Hussain intercepted a flying coach on Kohat Indus Highway and on checking found huge quantity of hashish. The police arrested two smugglers Irfanullah resident of district Waziristan and Attaullah resident of Bannu and started investigation.
