KANDAHAR: Police killed four suicide bombers on Monday night in Kandahar province of Afghanistan before reaching their target.
Zia Durrani, Spokesman of Kandahar police, told local media that the bombers were killed in Maroof district of Kandahar province and claimed that they planned and were trying to target the district council building and police headquarters using Humvee vehicle.
Police officials identified the suicide bombers as they were on the way to their target and police killed and thwarted the attack and the Humvee bomb was detonated in a controlled environment, Zia added.
