Police nabs four alleged killers involved in triple murder case

PESHAWAR: Capital City Police on Sunday arrested four accused persons, allegedly involved in the killings of three brothers in jurisdiction of Bhanamari police station.

Superintendent of Police (SP) City Muhammad Shoaib told to media men that the accused persons identified as Ishaq alias Mamoty and his three sons, salman, Kamran and Nouman had killed three brothers namely, Waqas, Sadeeq and Waseem over petty issue on 24 January. They had managed a crime scene after committing crimes.

SP added that that Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Ali Gundapur had took notice of the triple murders and formed a team in the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operation, Zahoor Babar Afridi comprising of him, DSP Subrub Ikhtiraz Khan and SHO Sardar Hussain and handed over a task to trace and arrests the culprits involved in triple murders case.

He informed that the team had started investigation on scientific basis and raided on various hideouts including in different parts of punjab, Baochistan and Kashmir and they continuously changed their places. However, they were arrested when they came to Peshawar for some important documentation to escape to Afghanistan. He added. SP said that around 20 facilitators, who provide shelter and assist them while escaping had been taken into custody.

The bank accounts of the main killers have been freezed.
