MINGORA: Caretaker Minister for Communications and Works (C&W) Muhammad Ali Shah says that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police established peace by sacrificing their lives, I salute the services of the policemen for peace and serving the soil of the country.
“When I got the opportunity to serve Swat as a Nazim, I tried to provide facilities to Swat Police beyond my capacity and was successful. Different proposals have been made to take measures for the provision of land for the expansion of the police training school, construction of a boundary wall, and work on the expansion of the Mosque, in this context these proposals will be placed before the current government.
In the current situation, it is very important to strengthen the facilities in the Swat Police Training School” said the Caretaker Minister.
He expressed these views in his speech as a chief guest at the police passing out ceremony at the Police Training School Mingora. DIG Training Feroze Shah also participated in the event.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Swat Sohail Ahmed and Director Police Training School Swat Noor Jamal along with police officers and local elders participated in a large number.
The chief guest, caretaker minister Muhammad Ali Shah inspected the parade and distributed shields among the policemen for the best performance during the training.
The event also saw a display of skill by the passing-out policemen. In his address as Chief Guest, Caretaker Minister Muhammad Ali Shah said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has become an organized and professional force and is improving with time.
He congratulated the policemen who completed the training and hoped they would perform their duties dutifully.
