Police suspends two officials for torturing citizen in Karachi

KARACHI: Two policemen were suspended for torturing and using abusive language for a citizen who was trying to take pictures of VIP protocol on Shahrah-e-Faisal.

SP Malik Ehsan informed the media persons regarding the decision of suspending two police officials for torturing the citizen. IGP AD Khawaja was informed by police spokesman and he directed the SP Malik Ehsan to conduct an inquiry and submit a report on the incident and later they were suspended on the basis of report, however police did not give the names of suspended police officials.
