Polio vaccination bampaign started

KABUL (Agencies): Local Public Health Officials of Zabul informed saying a four-day polio vaccination campaign in the province has being. In the ceremony organized for this goal, Dr. Abdul Hakeem Hakeemi, the head of public health of Zabul province, said that in this four-day campaign, 200,000 children under 5 years of age will be vaccinated against polio.
He asked for help from all government organs and the public in the implementation of the polio vaccine.
Meanwhile, a WHO official in Zabul Dr. Mohammad Omar said that WHO will fight against the polio disease and vowed to deliver the polio vaccine to all parts of Zabul.
Lately, the Ministry of Public Health announced the start of polio vaccination in 16 provinces of the country.
