Political dialogue only viable solution to Afghanistan conflict: China

NEW York: Chinese envoy to United Nations, Wu Haitao has said that political solution in the only option to end the conflict in Afghanistan and adding that international community needs to boost its cooperation and play their role in the rehabilitation of Afghanistan.

This he said while talking to media before representing china in the UN security Council meeting. He added that for the sustainable peace in the war affected country, dialogues are the best source and all actors’ needs to be on table in the dialogue process.

Wu added that international community needs to continue to promote the realization of a broad, inclusive political settlement with Afghan leadership and Afghan ownership.

He added that international community needs to respect the will of the Afghan people to choose their political system and development path.
