Polling continues for vacant Senate seat from Balochistan

QUETTA: Polling for the vacant seat of Senate has started at the Balochistan provincial assembly’s building in Quetta on Monday.

According to reports, polling started at 9am and will continue till 4pm without any break.

Candidate of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Manzoor Ahmed and Ghulam Marri of the Balochistan National Party (BNP) are the strongest candidates for the seat and tough contest is expected among them.

Five candidates are in race for the seat, which had fallen vacant due to sudden death of Senator, late Sardar Azam Khan Mussa Khel last month.
