ISLAMABAD: According to a research research, invisible particles enter the bloodstream through the lungs, and affect the blood vessels which ultimately lead to heart attack.
These particles usually came through vehicles producing poisonous chemical which mix in the air. People with already cardiovascular disease are more prone to this condition.
The research added that in comparison to ambient air, polluted air increase the blood pressure by 2-3 points.
Therefore, it is advisable to the people in Pakistan that they should take precautionary measures. Wearing masks and avoiding needless travel should be followed. Also, the administration should play its role and penalize those vehicles that do not maintain air quality protocol.
