PPP to clean sweep in KP in next election: Asif Zardari

PESHAWAR: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has said that in the upcoming general election, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will clean sweep in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and will form government with its own Chief Minister.

This he said while starting a two days visit to Peshawar on Sunday. While talking to media persons former president Zardari was confident that PPP will form government in center as well in the provinces.

Zardari welcomed scores of councilors and members of PTI who announced to join PPP adding that PPP will utilize the natural resources of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the better interest of the masses when it came into power after winning the general election of 2013.

Former President visited residence of late PTI MNA Gulzar Khan and offered his condolences to the family. Asad Gulzar, son of late Gulzar Khan announced joining PPP. Arbab Usman son of late ANP leader Arbab Ayub Jan also announced to join PPP.
