PPP to evince its political power in polls: Zardari

NAWABSHAH: Former President of Pakistan and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said that his party believes in democracy and it would politically demonstrate and prove its public power in next general elections.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of new building of Nawabshah Press Club here on Saturday he said that PPP is a vibrant political force and was capable to deal with issues being faced by the country.

Asif Zardari announced that he would contest elections from Nawabshah his home town and he was there to start his election campaign. He said that PPP accepted the results of elections 2013 for the sake of democracy.

He stressed upon utilizing the potential of hydro and wind power generation to fulfill the electricity demand of the country economically. He said that the tsunami of Imran raised from Karachi and settled down in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He also announced grant of Rs. 2.5 million for Nawabshah Press Club and assured his support for journalist colony in the city.
