PPP say no to arrest of Zardari in LandiKotal

LANDI KOTAL: In reaction to detention of ex-President Asif Ali Zardari by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in fake bank account case, workers of Pakistan People Party (PPP) staged a protest rally here at Bacha Khan Chowk, LandiKotal bazaar on Wednesday.

Scores of jeeyalays while holding placards inscribed with slogans in favor of their demands and chanted full-throat slogans against apprehend of their leader, Asif Ali Zardari.

Speaking to the angry mob PPP local leaders including Malik NadeemAfridi, AltafAfridi and others flayed the arrest of Zardari and said the incompetent government could not press PPP through unfair practices.

 “NAB has not remained a free body and has been utilizing by the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  for political victimizing” ,they added and saying if NAB was fair,it should detain Aleema Khan and Jahangir Tareen in references filed against them.

The speakers blamed that the incumbent government initiated arresting opposition leaders to remove attention of the masses from their real problems.

They maintained that due to ruin economic policies of the government, citizens of the country were forced to commit suicide and asked the people to join them to get rid of the selected regime of the Prime Minister Imran Khan.

At the end the protesters marched to in front of local press club and dispersed.
