PPP wants polls to be held on time: Shah

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) wants that present government complete its tenure and election to be conducted on time, however he added that the current political situation in clearly going towards early election.

This he said while talking to the media. Khursheed Shah said that the former prime minister, Nawaz Sharif is now trying hard to get out of the Panama case which he taken very lightly and created himself.

Shah added that Nawaz Sharif wanted to delay his cases in courts till the end of his tenure but the Supreme Court was well ahead and disqualified him which he didn’t expected.

He said that PPP tried hard to assist Nawaz Sharif in parliament to resolve the issues but unfortunately he never gave any importance to the parliament and he facing the consequences.

While answering to a question regarding Imran Khan, he said that Imran Khan is over confidence and he is losing popularity which he gained initially and adding that Imran Khan future is dark because of foul and abusive language.
