PPP’s Nisar Khuhro elected senator unopposed

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate Nisar Ahmed Khuhro was elected unopposed on a vacant Senate seat from Sindh, on Wednesday.

The seat had fallen vacant after Faisal Vawda resigned. It was a general Senate seat.

Nisar Ahmed Khuhro is a senior PPP politician. He has been serving as President PPP Sindh from 2016 till date.
